Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to B-WONDER Natural Skincare (“B-WONDER”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website at https://b-wonder.co.za and purchases made through our online store.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, subject to your rights under applicable South African law.

Please read these terms before placing an order. If you have any questions, contact us using the details provided at the end of this policy.

3. Products and product information

B-WONDER offers skincare and personal-care products made with ingredients selected for their intended cosmetic use.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, ingredient lists, sizes, prices and photographs are accurate and up to date.

However, minor variations in colour, texture, appearance or packaging may occur between batches or photographs, particularly where botanical ingredients are used. Such variations do not excuse a product from meeting applicable safety, quality and consumer-protection requirements.

Please read the product description and ingredient information before purchasing. If you require clarification about a product or ingredient, contact us before placing your order.

4. Product use and safety

B-WONDER products are intended for their stated cosmetic or personal-care purposes and must be used according to the directions supplied with the product.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, our products are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Customers should:

  • Read the product label and ingredient list before use.
  • Perform a patch test before first use, particularly if they have sensitive skin or known ingredient sensitivities.
  • Avoid use where an ingredient is known to cause an allergy or sensitivity.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes and other areas where the product is not intended to be applied.
  • Keep products out of the reach of children and store them as directed.
  • Discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.

A patch test can help identify some sensitivities, but it cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.

Our products may contain beeswax, honey, botanical extracts, essential oils and other naturally derived ingredients. Natural origin does not necessarily mean allergen-free or suitable for everyone.

Customers should seek appropriate professional advice for medical concerns or persistent skin problems. We do not guarantee a particular cosmetic result for every individual.

Nothing in this section excludes liability or remedies where a product fails to meet applicable legal safety or quality requirements.

5. Orders and order acceptance

Customers may place orders through the WooCommerce checkout on our website.

Before submitting an order, please review the selected products, quantities, delivery details and total price. Customers should correct any errors before completing the purchase.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted for fulfilment.

If we cannot fulfil an order because a product is unavailable or a genuine processing issue arises, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate cancellation and refund where required.

We will not rely on these terms to avoid an obligation arising from an order that has been accepted or from applicable consumer-protection law.

6. Prices and payment

All prices are displayed in South African rand (ZAR), unless expressly stated otherwise.

The price and delivery charges displayed at checkout before you place an order are the amounts applicable to that transaction, subject to lawful correction of genuine errors and any other rights provided by law.

Delivery charges and qualifying free-delivery offers are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Payment must be completed using a payment method made available at checkout. An order may be held until payment has been confirmed.

Where third-party payment services are used, their payment-processing terms may also apply. B-WONDER will handle customer information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

VAT status and pricing: As a small business we are currently not VAT registered or liable and product prices are exempt from VAT.

7. Promotions, discounts and availability

Promotional offers, discount codes and free-delivery offers may be subject to stated conditions, expiry dates, stock availability or minimum-spend requirements.

Any material conditions will be communicated with the relevant offer.

We may update our product range, descriptions and future promotional offers. Changes will not remove rights already acquired by customers under an existing transaction or applicable law.

8. Shipping, delivery and collection

Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation, with estimated courier delivery within 2–5 business days after dispatch.

Local collection is available by prior arrangement and confirmation that the order is ready.

Further details, including delivery charges, free-delivery eligibility, delays and collection arrangements, are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

Delivery estimates do not override statutory delivery obligations or remedies available where an order is not delivered as agreed.

9. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Our Returns, Refunds & Exchanges Policy explains how customers can request cancellations, returns, refunds and exchanges.

Qualifying online transactions may carry a statutory cooling-off right under ECTA. Customers may also have rights under the CPA relating to defective, unsafe or non-compliant goods.

These rights apply according to the relevant legislation and circumstances. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or reduce any mandatory consumer right.

10. Product safety concerns and complaints

We take product quality and customer safety seriously.

If you have a concern about a product, stop using it if it appears unsafe or causes an adverse reaction, and contact us with the product details and batch number, if available.

We may investigate the issue and request reasonable information to help determine what happened. This does not restrict any applicable legal remedy or the right to approach a relevant consumer-protection body.

11. Website content and intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the B-WONDER name, logo, original product photographs, written content, graphics and other original website materials belong to B-WONDER or are used with permission.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially use our original content without prior permission, except where permitted by law.

Product and brand names belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Website availability and security

We aim to keep our website accessible and functioning properly. However, temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues or circumstances outside our control.

Customers should use the website lawfully and must not attempt to compromise its security, interfere with its operation or submit malicious code.

Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Privacy and cookies

Our collection and handling of personal information, and our use of cookies and similar technologies, are explained in our separate Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Please refer to those policies for further information.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits a right, warranty, liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.

To the extent permitted by law, B-WONDER is not responsible for loss caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, provided this does not remove any obligation imposed on us by law or any responsibility arising from our own breach of contract, negligence or other legally actionable conduct.

Customers remain responsible for using products according to the supplied directions, subject to their statutory rights.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions when our business, products, website or legal obligations change.

The current version will be published on our website with its effective date. Any change will apply subject to applicable law and will not retrospectively remove a customer’s existing legal rights.

16. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute will be handled through the appropriate legal or dispute-resolution process, subject to the consumer’s rights under applicable law.
